About Us
Troop 107 is a well-respected part of Scouting America, Golden Empire Council since 1991.
We began with the goals of providing fellowship between homeschooling families and to reinforce the education of boys who were specifically homeschooled and a vision to uphold God's teachings. Troop 107 was the only option in Sacramento with these unique goals.
Our Troop still consists of mostly homeschooling families, but we have opened our doors and warmly welcome Christian families who do not homeschool as well. In the fall of 2019, we started our first all-Girls Troop and a girl’s den in the Pack, extending the scouting experience to the whole family.
Youths can join the Troop at the age of 11. Troop 107 meets the same night and location as Pack 107 making it easy for families with multiple ages, experience scouting together.
We encourage parents to get involved in scouting activities to help make our programs successful. As a result of strong parental involvement, our Scouts excel in advancement and at Camporee and other District events. Our 107 units are highly regarded throughout the Golden Empire Council.
